Chillicothe National Guard Unit Receives Hazardous Material Training
Summary
In this 2008 photo, as part of a training exercise members of the Chillicothe-based 1194th Engineer Company investigate a train car for a possible Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) situation. The Soldiers of the 1194th are receiving HAZMAT training to become the Search and Extraction Element of the Ohio National Guard’s Homeland Response Force (HRF). The Hazardous material training that the S & E team is receiving that is designed to keep them safe in the exposure area if called upon in a disaster situation.
