160714-M-PQ336-002 POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii (July 15, 2016) — U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. William Ring keeps dry from the rain at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, July 15, 2016. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force are participating in Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 8 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. The Marines of III MEF are headquartered in Okinawa, Japan, where they execute a wide range of military operations in the Pacific region.
