160718-M-PQ336-001 POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii (July 19, 2016) – Royal New Zealand Navy Commodore Jim Gilmour visits Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force while touring Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, July 19, 2016, during Rim of the Pacific 2016. Rim of the Pacific 2016 is a multinational military exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 8, in and around the Hawaiian Islands. Gilmour is the commander of Combined Task Force 176, a multinational naval force that includes military units from New Zealand, Australia, the U.S., and other allied and partnered nations.
