190317-N-PH222-1284 CORONADO Calif. (March 17, 2019) Active duty Sailors and veterans participate in the 2019 Navy basketball trials at Naval Air Station North Island, Calif., March 17, 2019. The 2019 Navy Trails is an opportunity to compete for a spot on Team Navy that will go head-to-head with other military services at the 2019 Department of Defense Warrior Games. Navy Wounded Warrior-Safe Harbor and NAS North Island are hosting the Navy Trials, in which athletes will qualify in eleven adaptive sports: rowing, cycling, wheelchair basketball, golf, swimming, wheelchair rugby, powerlifting, shooting, archery, track and field.
