Description: Views of the the shuttle Challenger from the fixed camera mounted on Astronaut Robert L. Stewart's Mannned Maneuvering Unit (MMU) helmet. Astronaut Bruce McCandless is standing on the manipulator foot restraint (MFR) mounted on the end of the remote manipulator system (RMS) arm. McCandless is in position over the shuttle pallet satellite (SPAS)-01A and Solar Maximum Mission (SMM) Main Electronics Box (MEB) and simulates removal and replacement of MEB. Also visible in the cargo bay are the support stations for the two MMU back-packs, the sunshields for the Palapa B2 and Westar VI satellites, Ku-band antenna and a number of getaway special (GAS) canisters.
