A-7E Corsair II aircraft of Attack Squadron 72 (VA-72) fly in formation as they return to the United States following deployment in the Persian Gulf area during Operation Desert Storm. The Corsair at the rear exhibits and camouflage paint scheme and sports the name of the war in which it played a role. Aircraft of VA-72 and VA-46 will be decommissioned following their return home after twenty years of service in Carrier Air Wing 3. Corsairs of both squadrons had been stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV-67)
