A firefighter with the 127th Civil Engineering Squadron, assigned to the Selfridge Air National Guard Base Fire Department practices using ice awls to extricate himself from hole during an ice rescue training exercise on Lake St. Clair, Harrison Township, Mich. on Jan. 31, 2017.
