The George Washington Carrier Strike Group (GWCSG) is currently participating in the Partnership of the Americas Exercise. The Exercise is a maritime training and readiness deployment of the US Naval Forces, conducting training with Caribbean and Latin American countries in support of the US Southern Command's (SOUTHCOM) objectives for enhanced maritime security
