A role-player is helped to an evacuation vehicle by two medics, from the 129th Area Support Medical Company, 161st Medical Battalion, 167th Theater Sustainment Command, an Alabama National Guard unit out of Centreville, Ala., at Mascatatuck Urban Training Complex, Ind., Aug. 9. The guardsmen are participating in Vibrant Response 13, a major field training exercise conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by U.S. Army North. Units participating in Vibrant Response are comprised of military and civilian forces that conduct lifesaving and life-sustaining operations after a domestic chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incident.
