A US Army Soldier (left) from Charley (C) Company (CO), 3rd Battalion (BN), 21st Infantry Regiment (INF REGT), 1ST Brigade (BDE), 25th Infantry Division (ID) Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), pulls guard while fellow Soldiers load in to the Stryker APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) in Mosul, Iraq, during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. The guard is armed with a FNMI 7.62 mm M240B machine gun, the others are armed with Special Operation Peculiar Modification (SOPMOD) M4 rifles. The Stryker has a Slat Armor cage, which detonates anti-tank shaped charges away from the vehicle
