US DoD, military, and civilian personnel were forced to relocate to the United States from Saudi Arabia in the wake of a terrorist bombing there during Operation SOUTHERN WATCH. They were met in Charleston by a barrage of military and civilian volunteers determined to make the relocation as painless as possible
