A wounded warrior assigned to the 7th Special Forces

A wounded warrior assigned to the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) runs on an anti-gravity treadmill while Dana Terrell, doctor of Physical Therapy, speaks with another soldier Sept. 17 in the group’s Combat Readiness Training Facility. The anti-gravity treadmill uses a unique unweighting feature allowing the THOR3 staff to rehabilitate a wounded warrior at an accelerated rate while decreasing stress on lower body injuries. Each is an integral part of the group’s Human Performance Program, an initiative combining the expertise of strength and conditioning coaches and physical therapists to maximize soldiers’ physical fitness.
