After marshalling out the last C-9A Nightingale aircraft (number 71-0879) at Ramstein Air Base (AB), Germany, US Air Force (USAF) AIRMAN First Class (A1C) Gentry Koepp, Crewchief, 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS), salutes the pilot, USAF Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Jeff Dunn, Commander, 75th Airlift Squadron (AS). This is the last Nightingale, as an Aeromedical Evacuation aircraft, in the squadron and it is heading to Scott Air Force Base (AFB), Illinois (IL), for transferred to the Air Force Reserves. Ramstein is keeping one C-9A aircraft for transporting high-ranking government and Department of Defense officials
