Air National Guard, 148th Fighter Wing Communications

Air National Guard, 148th Fighter Wing Communications Flight Airmen raised the tower on their Remote Communications Platform 3 (RCP3) to allow direct communications from the Minneapolis Convention Center on June 6, 2020. The extension allows radio communication with any military vehicle within an 18-mile radius. The RCP3 was custom developed to support flood relief where communication infrastructure was scarce and had never been used in an urban environment.
