AIRMAN Mario Sales, crew chief, 9th Bomb Squadron, Dyess Air Force Base, inspects a vent tube for one of the four General Electric F-101/102 turbine jet engines of their unit's B-12 Lancer. In 12 hours this aircraft "Hellion" will be the lead aircraft in a two ship formation that will launch on a non-stop around the world sortie, that will include five in-flight refuelings, and three "no-drop" bombing exercises. When completed this will also determine the first (unofficial) world record in this weight category. "Hellion" is the lead aircraft of the squadron
