An officer with the Afghan National Directorate of Security collects electrical tape from a controlled improvised explosive device blast site at Forward Operating Base Sharana in Paktika province, Afghanistan, June 12, 2013. The tape may have preserved the bomb maker’s fingerprint or DNA, which could be used to identify him to law enforcement.
