Army Maj. The USO Spring Troop Visit Meet entertained troops with a visit from athletes, cheerleaders and singers. The visit included four-time National Football League Most Valuable Player and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson, retired Major League Baseball pitcher and three-time World Series winning Curt Schilling, Indianapolis Colts receiver Austin Collie and quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen; Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders Jackie Bob and Cassie Trammell and American Idol's Season Three runner-up Diana Degarmo and Season Five finalist Ace Young. The USO weeklong tour included stops to various stateside installations such as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and Joint Base Andrews, Md.; to include overseas military installations, such as Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti; Naval Air Station Rota, Spain; Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy and other locations.
