Behavioral health leadership symposium informs leaders of resources available for Soldiers
Summary
Col. Chance Kaplan, commander for the 3rd Medical Deployment Support Command, serving with U.S. Army Central Command, talks to colonels and command sergeants major during a behavioral health symposium July 23 at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The symposium brought chaplains, behavioral health practitioners and senior leadership together to heighten the awareness of behavioral health needs and empower leaders with knowledge to help their soldiers stationed throughout the Middle East. Through future symposiums, Third Army is continually educating leadership on how to better take care of their soldiers.
