Cadet Maj. Sabrina Keenan takes aim at a small target

Cadet Maj. Sabrina Keenan takes aim at a small target 45.5 millimeters in diameter and 10 meters (33 feet) away at the 2016 JROTC National Air Rifle Championships held in Anniston, Ala., on March 17-19. 56 Teams from 73 schools as well as numerous individual shooters representing all four U.S. Armed Forces shot their way through various local and regional competitions in order to qualify for this culminating event. As an individual, Keenan was the 2016 JROTC Army champion in the Precision class. After graduation from Walla Walla High School in Washington later this year, Keenan will attend the U.S. Naval Academy Prep school and will follow on to the Academy at Annapolis as a shooter for Navy.
