CAPU MIDIA, Romania (March 18, 2017)— Sgt. Stephan Villada, from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), communicates with other Marines while riding in an amphibious assault vehicle after departing USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) during exercise Spring Storm 2017, March 18. Carter Hall, along with elements of the 24th MEU participated in the Romanian-led bilateral maritime training evolution. The 24th MEU is deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Readiness Group to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and U.S. 6th Fleet areas of operation.
