Cherokee, N.C., March 19, 2013 -- Walt Kruski, a FEMA Public Assistance specialist works with representatives from the Eastern Band Cherokee Indian (EBCI) Emergency Response community attending an Applicant Kickoff meeting in Cherokee, NC. FEMA is working with the EBCI tribe and representatives from the State of North Carolina to provide services to the tribe and its' residents affected by severe storms in January.
