Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Gen. David Goldfein, speaks at the Air Commando Association Hall of Fame Banquet on Oct. 27, 2018, at the Emerald Coast Convention Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The ACA inducted U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. John Chapman as the sole honoree into the Hall of Fame. Chapman, the first Special Tactics operator to earn the Medal of Honor, was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during the Battle of Takur Ghar, Afghanistan, in 2002.
