Children line up to receive health supplies donated by the Philippine Marine Corps, Philippine Air Force and U.S. Navy at the conclusion of a cooperative health engagement as part of KAMANDAG 3 at Colonel Ernesto P. Ravina Air Base, Philippines, Oct. 12, 2019. The U.S. military is committed to supporting the humanitarian interests of our Philippine partners, as well as those of other regional allies. KAMANDAG 3 is a Philippine-led, bilateral exercise with participation from Japan. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnerships between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
