Civil Affairs Officers with the Coalition Joint Forces Land Component Command, in Baghdad visits an Internally Displaced Persons Camp in vicinity of Badoush, Iraq. Spirit of America donated and delivered ten handheld metal detector wands to the ISF to enable them to screen women and children for explosives in a minimally invasive manner. The CJFLCC Civil Affairs Team is deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve and assigned to 1st Armored Division. The 1st Armored division enables their Iraqi security forces partners through the advise and assist mission, contributing planning, intelligence collection and analysis, force protection, and precision fires to achieve the military defeat of ISIS.
