Col. Randall Wickman, left, Commander, 189th Infantry Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, receives information on Army Reserve processes from Army Reserve leaders during a two-day orientation brief at the 85th Support Command’s headquarters, Oct. 4-5.
The brief was intended to give an in-depth understanding of Army Reserve functions and processes to incoming AC commanders who manage a mixture of active and reserve component battalions, in their brigades, assigned to First Army Division-West.
