Original Caption: Carnegie Institute of Technology. The Surgeon General sends 15 men, with officers from Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, and ten men with officers from Fort Riley, Kan., to the Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, Pa., every month for special training in automobile maintenance and gas engine operation. These men are I the Medical Reserve Corps and return to the camps to be instructors of chauffeurs for motor ambulances and trucks, or as expert gas engine men to take charge of sanitary trains. 1918.
