Corporal Nicholas Brown discusses the RQ-11B Raven,
Summary
Corporal Nicholas Brown discusses the RQ-11B Raven, an unmanned aerial vehicle, May 19 at Robertson Barracks, Palmerston, Northern Territory, Australia. The Raven provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for Marine Corps units through a video camera in the nose section to capture medium-resolution imagery of the field. The rotational deployment of U.S. Marines affords an unprecedented combined training opportunity with the ADF and improves interoperability between our forces. Brown is an intelligence specialist with Headquarters and Support Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Reba James)
