Corporal's Course, US Navy Photogrpah

Cpl. Jason Tulowitzki, from the "Death Rattlers" of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron (VMFA) 323, is the unit leader during the drill and sword portion of the Corporal's Course in the hangar bay aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The Corporal's Course is a leadership class that U.S. Marine Corps corporals are required to take before they can be considered for advancement to the rank of sergeant. Stennis and Carrier Air Wing 9 are on a scheduled deployment in support of the global war on terrorism and maritime operations. Maritime operations help set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as complement counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations.
