CPL. Damien Degennaro, (hometown Albany, NY) an Avionics Technician, performs maintenance checks on the propeller of a UH-1 Iroquois aboard the USS PONCE (LPD-15) during its transatlantic voyage. The UH-1 from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 264 (HMM-264) Composite and is part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF) Liberia. SPMAGTF Liberia, a II Marine Expeditionary Force unit from Camp Lejeune, NC, will take over the duties of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit at the US Embassy in Monrovia, Liberia.
