Educator’s with Marine Corps Recruiting Station Charleston, West Virginia’s Educator’s Workshop watch a demonstration of rappelling procedures April 7, 2016, in anticipation of going down Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island’s 47-foot tower. Thirty two educators from across Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia attended an all-expenses paid trip to the depot in South Carolina to learn how Marines are made and what the youth from their communities endure to earn the coveted title.
