Fort Yukon, Alaska, July 6, 2013 -- Paul Herbert who is a subsistence fisherman and hunter lost his salmon mill during the severe flooding that struck the northern territories of the Yukon river. Individual Assistance in the form of Other Needs Assistance (ONA) grants are being provided for subsistence area registrants to provide relief from the loss of the salmon mill, fishing nets, tools and the loss of the fish that will not be caught and harvested in the Unorganized Borough.
