Four special operations agencies with unique missions
Summary
Four special operations agencies with unique missions learned how to instruct Tactical Combat Casualty Care classes while participating in a TCCC Train the Trainer course, April 11 through 15, at the Latvian Border Guard Aviation Unit in Ludza, Latvia. Soldiers of Special Operations Command Forward Eastern Europe participated alongside three Latvian special operations units: Omega, the Ministry of Interior’s special operations unit; Sigma Detachment, the Latvian Border Guard Aviation Unit’s special operations unit; and the Ministry of Defence’s Latvian Special Operations Unit. These four joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multinational agencies spent the week learning from one another while building friendships in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a multinational demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies.
