Hundreds of New Yorkers crowd Pier 92 in Manhattan to watch the Parade of Ships through the New York Harbor, May 23, during Fleet Week New York 2012. The Marines of Special Marine Air Ground Task Force New York are part of approximately 3,000 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, celebrating the 25th Fleet Week New York through May 30. Fleet Week has been New York City's celebration of the sea services since 1984. It is an unparalleled opportunity for citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as see, firsthand, the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
