In the dark at the McEntire Air National Guard Station flightline an F-16C, Block 52, Fighting Falcon, 157th Fighter Squadron (FS), is guided out of its parking space by a 169th Aircraft Generations Squadron (AGS) member, as it prepares for its long flight to Moron AB, Spain. Members of the South Carolina Air National Guard (SCANG) deploy in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. The SCANG personnel are the first Air National Guard personnel from South Carolina to deploy to forward locations in support of the "War on Terrorism". The SCANG sent F-16C/D, Block 52 aircraft and pilots from the 157th FS as well as maintainers and other support personnel from the 169th Fighter Wing (FW)
