Iraqi soldiers, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 36th Brigade, 9th Mechanized Division, set up a tripod during SPG-9 recoilless rifle training at Camp Taji, Iraq, April 17, 2016. This training allowed trainers to familiarize Iraqi soldiers with the SPG-9, a 73 mm rifle used to destroy various enemy targets including tanks, self-propelled artillery mounts and armored vehicles, and assess their knowledge and skills on multiple weapons systems.
