JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 12, 2018) – Capt. Kevin Brown, Naval Hospital Jacksonville executive officer, speaks during a morning safety brief in 2018. The daily safety brief brings staff together (in person and by phone) from across the command to identify potential risks early, so they can be acted on promptly. Brown, a native of Genoa, Ohio, says "Patient safety is the most important issue for any healthcare organization.
