JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 2, 2020) – Hospitalman Marco Perez (right), a surgical technologist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, assists during a knee arthroscopy in the main operating room. Perez, a native of Hendersonville, North Carolina, says, “To be a surgical technologist is to be part of a team whose mission is to provide the highest level of care for the patient.
