Japan Ground Self Defense Force members line the streets

Japan Ground Self Defense Force members line the streets to welcome the soldiers from 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Oct. 23 as they arrive to Aibano Training Area, Japan, for exercise Orient Shield 12. Exercise Orient Shield is an annual, tactical level, field-training exercise is co-hosted by U.S. Army Japan and the Ground Self-Defense Force. This year’s exercise includes soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment and Ground Self-Defense Force members from the 33rd Infantry Regiment, 10th Division, Middle Army.
