Jennifer Lee, a military spouse, adds the cheesy finishing touches to her Mexican LaZonya during the Healthy Cooking Class held aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Nov. 30. The casserole dish included lots of vegetebles, herbs and spices, and low fat cheese, layered with corn tortillas. The class, hosted by Shelley Lamey, director of Semper Fit Gym, offers military spouses and their children the opportunity to try new quick and healthy recipes to later share with their families, all while building relationships with other families on base.
