Joint Forces Command – United Assistance recon team prepares to board a V-22 Osprey Nov. 10, 2014, in River Gee, Liberia. The JFC recon team’s objective was to coordinate with River Gee city officials to build army mobile labs and locate Ebola Treatment Unit sites. United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
