Lance Cpl. Collin C. Osgood, a Salmon, Idaho, native, plots simulated enemy positions for artillery batteries to fire upon August 6 at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. Once the positions are plotted by forward observers, the fire support coordination center approves the battery to fire. Marines familiarized themselves with the new systems in preparation for the Artillery Relocation Training Program 14-2 at Yausubetsu Maneuver Area, Hokkaido, Japan. ARTP maintains unit proficiency in support of the U.S.-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security.
