Lavallette, N.J., April 18, 2013 -- Traffic is flowing along Highway 35 in Lavallette, almost six months after Hurricane Sandy devastated the barrier island communities and, among other things, caused massive amounts of sand to be deposited in the streets. Both businesses and residents have returned to the community and are in process of rebuilding what was lost. Photo by Sharon Karr/FEMA
