The Reserve Pipe Band is one of only two bagpipe bands in the US Armed Forces and is one of the most unique and colorful units in the Air Force. Band members wear uniforms manufactured in Scotland. Their official Tartan was authorized and approved in September 1987 by the Tartan Society in Edinburgh, Scotland.
