Summary

Lt. Col. Steven Soika (center), commander of the 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, poses with members of the 3rd Infantry Division rock band Trigger Happy, at Forward Operating Base Spin Boldak, Afghanistan, Nov. 3, 2012. The band performed on the back of two flatbed semi-trucks turned makeshift stage providing entertainment to service members and defense contractors. Spin Boldak is stop number eight for the band which tours various outposts and bases throughout Regional Command (South). Members of Trigger Happy are Sgt. 1st Class Patrick D. Gray, Staff Sgt. Kristin Chandler, Staff Sgt. Joseph Grabill, Sgt. Jeff Siple, Sgt. Michael Winkler, Sgt. Jessica Winkler, Sgt. Tom Lipscomb, Sgt. Todd Gerlach, and Spc. Anthony Martinez.

The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
