Maj. Dan Cruceanu, commander of the Romanian army's 284th Tank Battalion, led his unit in the live-fire training at Combined Resolve II at the U.S. Army Joint Multinational Training Command's training grounds in Grafenwoehr, Germany, June 13, 2014. This training facilitated the first time Romanian tanks have been fired outside their country since World War II. Romania is one of the 15 allied and partner countries participating in Combined Resolve II, a U.S. Army Europe-directed multinational exercise at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas, May 15 - June 30, 2014.
