Maj. Gen. Jim Huggins, 82nd Airborne Division and Regional Command (South) commander, explains all of the attachments on his improvised outer tactical vest to Reps. Michael McCaul (R-TX) and Jeffery Duncan (R-SC) before their tour of RC(S) on Kandahar Airfield Nov. 6. McCaul, Duncan and three other representatives traveled to RC(S) to learn about the morale and welfare of the troops, examine the challenges of units in defeating al-Qaida and Haqqani networks, specifically along the border, and the progress being made with rebuilding efforts and the drawdown of service members.
