Marcus Selby, a supply technician with the Roseburg
Summary
Marcus Selby, a supply technician with the Roseburg VA Health Care System’s Supply Chain Management team, is an Army Veteran originally from Rancho Cordova, California. He has been with the RVAHCS for two months. Staff with SCM have been working in overdrive since the beginning of RVAHCS’s COVID-19 response to keep the facility well stocked with the vital Personal Protective Equipment that keeps both providers and Veterans protected from exposure to the Coronavirus inside its five facilities across Southern Oregon. The worldwide pandemic caused by SARS-CoV2, the disease that causes COVID-19, has brought cheers and tributes for health care workers across the globe. Traditional first responders and ordinary citizens – police, firemen, military and many others – line the streets outside medical facilities and atop balconies from New York City to New Delhi to show appreciation for the difficult work front line providers do each day.
