Sergio MartinezRuiz, base sergeant major, accept a proclamation honoring Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow's 75 years of service to the Marine Corps and the Barstow community, from Mayor Julie Hackbarth-McIntyre, Mayor Pro-Tem Carmen Hernandez and city council Members Tim Silva and Merrill Gracey, during the City Council meeting held in Barstow, Calif., Feb. 20. The proclamation highlights the many ways that MCLB Barstow has positively impacted the local community to include offering skilled jobs and strong community relationships.
