Summary
Marines with 3rd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, attached to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Battalion Landing Team, practice loading an Internally Transportable Vehicle along with a 120 mm Towed Rifled Mortar system, commonly called the Expeditionary Fire Support System onto an MV-22 Osprey aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima Oct. 26, 2011. PMINT will take place Oct. 24 to Nov. 3 and is focused on building the Navy-Marine Team and establishing the working relationships and practices necessary to conduct operations from the sea.
