This is a long shot of the T55 Russian Tank that was being destroyed in the field artillery area of operation on Camp Dobol, Bosnia, during Operation JOINT GUARD. On December 20, 1996, the Implementation Force (IFOR) mission came to a conclusion and the 1ST Infantry Division was selected to continue serving in Bosnia as part of the new Stabilization Force (SFOR). This decision brought to close the peace mission of Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR and has been the beginning for the current operation known as Operation JOINT GUARD. Marines with Charlie Battery, 1st battalion, 10th Marine Artillery Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, fire on multiple target points during Artillery Relocation Training Program 18-1 May 5, 2018, on the Combined Arms Training Complex, Camp Fuji, Japan. ARTP 18-1 is a Japan-funded, routine training exercise that allows Marines with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment based out of Camp Hansen, Okinawa, to conduct live-fire training in Japan.
